AbstractWith the catalysis of CuI/3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, various ketones smoothly underwent the intramolecular C-vinylation with vinyl bromides in refluxing THF leading to the efficient synthesis of the corresponding multisubstituted cyclobutenones.
