AbstractThe kinetic resolution of 1,3-disubstituted unsymmetrical allylic substrates with TMSCN as the nucleophile was realized via palladium-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation, providing optically active allylic substrates and ,-unsaturated nitriles in good yield and enantioselectivity.
