AbstractHighly efficient synthesis of enantiomerically enriched substituted piperidines has been realized via chiral phosphoric acid catalyzed cascade hydrogenative dearomatization of substituted pyridines and aza-Friedel-Crafts reaction in good to excellent yields and enantioselectivity.
