AbstractA palladium-catalyzed direct C-H allylation of simple arenes without directing groups was developed for allyl arene synthesis. The use of bidentate monoanionic nitrogen ligands enabled the progress of initial C-H activation of arenes, as well as the subsequent insertion and β-OAc elimination.
