AbstractA mild and efficient copper-catalyzed oxytrifluoromethylation of allenes is demonstrated. The reaction tolerates a range of substrates to give a series of trifluoromethylated derivatives in moderate to good yields. Two possible pathways were proposed based on the reaction results and control experiments.
