Other AbstractMany biologically active compounds contain CF3 group as the essential motif. As a result, much attention has been paid to the development of new synthetic methods for the introduction of CF3 group into diverse organic compounds. This review takes a critical look at recent advances of trifluoromethyltion reactions.
