Other AbstractPorous tungsten oxide films were prepared using a sol-gel process with the tungstic chloride as the source material using amphiphilic copolymers, poly(styrene-co-allyl alcohol) (PS-co-PAAL) and poly(ethylene oxide)-block-poly(propylene oxide)-block-poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO-b-PPO-b-PEO), as template respectively. The effect of polymer template and annealed temperature on the porous structure of the WO3 films was investigated by thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), X-ray powder diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and atomic force microscope (AFM). The H-2 gasochromic property and the change of visible transmittance before and after bleached were characterized by the test of H2 gas-sensing with combination of UV-visible spectrophotometer. The results indicated that the WO3 films prepared using PS-co-PAAL as template and annealed at 400 degrees C had crosslinked and porous structure, and showed the best H-2 gasochromic property.
