AbstractA highly efficient and convenient method for the selective titanation of 1,3-butadiynes using Ti((OPr)-Pr-i)(4)/(BuLi)-Bu-n reagent has been developed. The method provided a facile synthesis of enynes and trans-enynols in a well-stereodefined manner. (C) 2008 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
