英文摘要: This paper highlights the recent advances in the chiral catalyst immobilization using a conceptually new strategy, i.e. self-supporting approach. Different from the conventional methods by using various types of supports or biphasic systems, self-supporting method utilizes homochiral metal-organic coordination polymers generated by self assembly of chiral multitopic ligands with metal ions, and thus obviates the use of any support. The self-supported chiral catalysts demonstrated excellent enantioselectivities in heterogeneous catalysis of a variety of asymmetric reactions. In addition to simple recovery and convenient recycle commonly associated with heterogeneous catalysts, such homochiral metal-organic assemblies also exhibit advantages of facile preparation, robust chiral structures, and thus providing a new approach for chiral catalyst immobilization.
