AbstractSeveral new analogues of natural antifeedant tonghaosu were synthesized via m-CPBA (m-chloroperoxybenzoic acid) oxidation of corresponding-3-(alpha-furyl)propanols, Luche reduction of the resulting enone epoxidation, acid-mediated spiroketalization, and radical mediated dehydration.
